Components which we use in this project are listed below:

  1. Regulator (LM1086)
  2. Capacitor (10uf)
  3. Resistor (1k)
  4. Transistor (2N3904)
  5. Resister (121)
  6. Resistor (365)
  7. Capacitor (100uf)
  8. Resistor (5k)
  9. Jumper wires

Construction of LM1086 series, 5V Regulator in proteus

  • Connect IN pin of Regulator with +ve side of capacitor and then connect them with +ve
  • Connect out pin of regulator with the one side of resistor 5k through one side of capacitor 100uf and 121 resistor
  • Connect the other side of resistor 5k with the GND
  • Connect the other side of 100uf capacitor with the GND
  • Connect the other side of 121 resistor with the one side of resistor 365
  • Connect the other side of 365 resistor
  • Connect base pin of regulator with the collector pin of transistor
  • Connect ammeter pin of transistor with the GND
  • Connect base pin of transistor with resistor 1k
  • Connect 2nd side of 1k resistor with the GND
  • Connect another resistor 1k with the junction of transistor and resistor
  • Connect 2nd side of capacitor 10uf with GND
