Components

  1. IC (8091)
  2. LCD display (16×2)
  3. Capacitor (30pF)
  4. Resistor (10k, 220, )
  5. Capacitor (10uF, 30pF, )
  6. Push button
  7. Crystal (1.2MHz)
  8. Jumper wires

Construction

  • Connect pin 18 of 8051 with one side of capacitor 33p through the one side of crystal
  • Connect 2nd side of capacitor with one side of 2nd capacitor and then connect them with GND
  • Connect the pin 19 of 8051 with 2nd side of crystal through the 2nd side of 2nd capacitor
  • Connect one side of resistor 10k with GND
  • Connect 2nd side of resistor with one side of capacitor 10uF
  • Connect 2nd side of capacitor with one side of Push button
  • Connect pin 9 of 8951 at the junction of resistor and capacitor through 2nd side of Push button
  • Connect 2nd side of push button with 2nd side of resistor
  • Connect RS pin of Graphical display with RS pin of IC 8051
  • Connect RW pin of Graphical display with RW pin of IC 8051
  • Connect E pin of Graphical display with E pin of IC 8051
  • Connect D0 pin of Graphical display with pin 1 of IC 8051
  • Connect D1 pin of Graphical display with pin 2 of IC 8051
  • Connect D2 pin of Graphical display with pin 3 of IC 8051
  • Connect D3 pin of Graphical display with pin 4 of IC 8051
  • Connect D4 pin of Graphical display with pin 5 of IC 8051
  • Connect D5 pin of Graphical display with pin 6 of IC 8051
  • Connect D6 pin of Graphical display with pin 7 of IC 8051
  • Connect D7 pin of Graphical display with pin 8 of IC 8051
  • Connect VEE pin of LCD display with one side of resistor 220
  • Connect 2nd side of resistor 220 with GND
  • Connect VSS pin of LCD display with GND
  • Connect VDD pin of LCD display with +ve
