Let’s dive into

 

 

Components Require:

  1. ESP32 board
  2. I2C module
  3. LCD display (16×2)
  4. Jumper wires
  5. Arduino (IDE)

Circuit Diagram:

Connections:

  • Connect the VCC pin of LCD display to the 5V pin of ESP32.
  • Connect the GND pin of LCD display to the GND pin of ESP32.
  • Connect the SDA pin of LCD display to the SDA pin of ESP32.
  • Connect the SCL pin of LCD display to the SCL pin of ESP32.

Power On:

Connect the ESP32 to your computer using a USB cable to power it up.

Install Libraries:

  • Open the Arduino IDE Software if you have or download it.
  • Now go to “Sketch” showing on the header and the go to “Include Library” then “Manage Libraries…”
  • Now Search for “LiquidCrystal_I2C” and install the library.

Upload Code:

Now copy the Following code and paste it to the Arduino IDE.

After pasting the code just click on Upload Button

When you press the upload button the software compile the code to you board.
