What is Thermistor Temperature Controller?

A thermistor temperature controller is a device that uses a thermistor—a type of temperature-sensitive resistor—to regulate temperature in a system.

The thermistor’s resistance changes with temperature, it decreases as temperature rises and increases as temperature falls. This property is utilized in a temperature controller to measure changes in temperature.

Working:

The thermistor serves as the sensor for temperature changes, the OP-AMP compares these changes to a set threshold, and the control signal to the DC fan is adjusted based on this comparison, ensuring the fan turns on or off to regulate the temperature within the desired range.
