- The flex sensor is a resistive sensor whose resistivity alters corresponding to the angle to which it is bent.
- The flex
sensor is generally employed in the voltage divider configuration with simple resistor connected in series with the flex sensor. - The voltage is read at the flex sensor with reference to ground, when the flex sensor is bent its resistance is altered due to which the voltage at the resistor also varies.

The flame sensor also known as the flame detector is a type of sensor that senses the presence of the fire in its vicinity. The fire sensor detects the presence of the fire by detecting the IR (Infrared Radiation) waves present in the fire. The LDR sensor is the abbreviation of the Light Dependent Resistor and as the name implies the resistance of this sensor varies in relation to the intensity of light, greater the intensity of light lower will be resistance of the LDR sensor. Just like the flex sensor the light dependent resistor is also used in the voltage divider configuration, the resistance of the LDR sensor alters as the intensity of light projected on the sensor varies.
